Some of the transatlantic album changes back in the '60 and '70s were caused by UK bands not including singles on LPs. American labels preferred having those on the LPs for sales reason. A lot of them do seem largely arbitrary though.

Just keep removing songs for another 2 or 3 albums and then you can combine all your removed tracks and some B-sides to make a US only compilation album. Happened to about every British Invasion band that hung around long enough.

I can't imagine a Baltimore/Australian mashup but aren't accents and dialects great? I hope they never die out completely. There's a town up here called Endicott and you're a local if you know it's pronounced ENDY-cott.

My parents notably both had copies of Wings "Band on the Run". As the inheritor/steward of their vinyl, I sold or traded the extra. BUT, I made my own for myself, I kept the better of the two discs, AND kept it in the better of the two covers!! 😲

"The Toy Dolls are an English punk rock band formed in 1979. They are best known for their sole UK hit, a punk-rock cover of "Nellie the Elephant". The Toy Dolls' songs expressed a sense of fun, such as "Yul Brynner Was a Skinhead", "My Girlfriend's Dad's a Vicar" and "James Bond Lives Down Our Street", and songs titles often use alliteration, such as "Peter Practice's Practice Place", "Fisticuffs in Frederick Street", "Neville Is a Nerd", and "Quick to Quit the Quentin"."
